On August 19, the parish of the Transfiguration of the UGCC in the city of Lozova, in the Kharkiv Oblast, celebrated the parish feast day and the anniversary of its establishment.
On this day, Archbishop Ihor Isichenko visited the parish with the blessing of Bishop Vasyl Tuchapts, Exarch of Kharkiv. In the chapel, the bishop led the service. He was co-served by Fr. Vyacheslav Trush and Fr. Stanislav Bialkovsky from the village of Demenky, in Poltava Oblast. After the Divine Liturgy, the consecration of the first fruits took place. At the end of the visitation, Archbishop Ihor met with the congregation and congratulated those present on the seventh anniversary of the parish’s establishment.
