Ivano-Frankivsk Archeparchy psychologists work with wives of defenders
The Information Department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Archdiocese reports that every Wednesday, psychologists of the Ivano-Frankivsk Archeparchy of the UGCC facilitate sessions with the wives of Ukrainian soldiers. During the sessions they collaboratively work to establish a stable emotional state, foster mutual support, and uplift each other.
According to psychologists, the main goal of these classes is to support the wives of military personnel. The training sessions are attended by members of the Warrior’s Wife NGO.
At the meetings, the psychologists work with the women on emotional stabilization and learn how to support each other. Furthermore, they talk about femininity, family relationships, and child-rearing.
Mutual support groups have few visitors so that specialists can provide beneficiaries with quality support.
At the end of the training, the psychologists presented all the participants with color-by-number pictures.
