UGCC Military Chaplain Fr. Igor Tabaka Wounded and Awaits Surgery

The priest of the Kharkiv Exarchate, military chaplain Father Igor Tabaka came under enemy fire and sustained a shrapnel wound. This was reported by Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets, Exarch of the UGCC in Kharkiv.

“Father Igor is in the hospital under medical supervision. His condition is stable. He is conscious and waiting for surgery,” said Bishop Vasyl.

The bishop asks the clergy and all the laity to pray for a successful surgery and for Father Igor’s full recovery.
