Priestly Families of the Donetsk Exarchate Gathered for Joint Spiritual Renewal
On Bright Saturday, April 26, 2025, the priestly families of the Donetsk Exarchate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church gathered for a joint spiritual renewal at the Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Zaporizhia. For many of them, it was their first opportunity to see one another in years.
This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Exarchate.
The retreat began with the Divine Liturgy, led by Bishop Maksym Ryabukha, Exarch of Donetsk, in concelebration with Bishop Stepan Meniok, Bishop Emeritus, and numerous clergy of the Donetsk Exarchate. After the homily and the conclusion of the Liturgy, the retreat began.
Father Petro Zhuk, rector of the Kyiv Three Saints Seminary, conducted the retreat.
According to the press service of the Donetsk Exarchate, the retreat leader’s insightful reflections and spiritual guidance helped participants delve deeper into key aspects of Christian life and priestly and marital ministry.
