Nearly 100 Altar Servers Take Part in the Annual Gathering of the Holy Family Eparchy of London
On May 23, the Third Annual Gathering of Altar Servers of the Holy Family Eparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church was held in London. Nearly 100 altar servers from various parishes across England and Scotland participated in the event.

The gathering began with the Divine Liturgy, presided over by Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski and concelebrated by the clergy of the eparchy. Following the service, participants took part in a master class on making festive candles for the feast of Pentecost. Afterwards, a soccer tournament was held for the altar servers.
The winner in the older age group was the team from the Ukrainian Catholic community of St. Josaphat at the Parish of St. Francis of Assisi in London.
In the younger age group, the team from the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of St. Olha in Peterborough took first place. In addition to prizes awarded in various categories, all participants received commemorative medals.
