The Knights of Columbus donated an ambulance to the residents of Chornomorsk.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Exarchate.

As part of a meeting of chaplains of the men’s fraternal community, the vehicle was blessed and consecrated by the Supreme Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, Archbishop William Edward Lori of Baltimore, together with National Chaplains Bishop Mykhailo Bubniy and Archbishop Mieczysław Mokrzycki in Lviv.

The ambulance, purchased through the joint efforts of the Knights of Columbus from Poland and Ukraine, will soon be delivered to its destination.

The event was attended by representatives of local governments, Fr. Andriy Kremza, rector of the parish of St. Elijah the Prophet of the UGCC, Fr. Oleksandr Bilsky, head of the Health Care Commission of the Odesa Exarchate, and representatives of the National Council, Mykola Mostoviak and Yuriy Maletsky.
