In Argentina, Nearly 400 Participants Attended the 35th Ukrainian Youth Congress

This was reported by the press office of the Eparchy of Santa María del Patrocinio in Argentina in Buenos Aires.

The congress program featured communal prayer, listening to the Word of God, spiritual reflections, lectures, and small-group sessions. Participants also had the opportunity to meet and talk to young people from other parishes.

This year’s gathering was dedicated to the Christian vocation of young people and their participation in parish life. During the lectures and small-group sessions, participants discussed how to bear witness to the Christian faith in the family, in education, in professional life, in society, and in the Church.

The highlight of the congress was the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, presided over by Bishop Daniel Kozelinski, Eparch of Santa María del Patrocinio in Argentina.

During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, for peace and an end to the war, and for the protection of Ukrainian servicemen and all those who have suffered as a result of the war.

The gathering also addressed the preservation of the Ukrainian language, culture, and traditions within Ukrainian communities in Argentina, as well as young people’s participation in the life of the Church.

The participants returned to their parishes after a communal prayer and an opportunity to meet with young people from other communities in the eparchy.
