With this act of charity, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed support for all our people, who, for the second consecutive year, have been enduring difficult conditions of an unjust war and suffering from enemy violence. He also assured of future assistance.

The President of the Saint Sophia Society, Fr. Marko-Jaroslav Semegen, conveyed sincere gratitude to the representative of the Ambassador and the Government of Taiwan from all recipients of aid in the cities most affected by the horrors of war. The organization of such events is an integral part of the mission of the Patriarchal Pro-Cathedral in collaboration with different countries.

Fr. Marko-Jaroslav presented the guest with an icon of Christ the Condemned as a memento of the meeting. In addition, Mr. Minister had the opportunity to visit the Procathedral of St. Sophia under the leadership of its rector.

It should be noted that since the commencement of the war, the Saint Sophia Society has consistently dispatched humanitarian aid to Ukraine, with each shipment averaging 20 tons per ship.
