Priests of the UGCC received awards from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

On Tuesday, October 4, in the Cathedral of Saint Sophia in Kyiv, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, presented high awards to chaplains who, through their work and sacrifice, proved their love for Ukraine. Among the awardees are priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

Chaplains of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Fr. Vitaliy Voietsa and Fr. Yuriy Logaza from the Kyiv Archeparchy of the UGCC, Fr. Maksym Krolevskyi and Fr. Igor Tabaka from the Kharkiv Exarchate of the UGCC, Fr. Vasyl Hasynets from the Chernivtsi Eparchy of the UGCC, Fr. Andriy Sidanych and Fr. Mykhailo Biletsky from the Lviv Archeparchy of the UGCC awarded with high honor.

“I dedicate this award to our soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our defenders on the front lines, our military doctors, military chaplains of the UGCC, and all chaplains and many volunteers! I sincerely thank everyone that we have been walking together for years,” Fr. Vitaliy Voietsa mentions.
