Prayer to Commemorate Patriarch Lubomyr Husar Planned in Kyiv
February 26 marks the 91 st anniversary of the birth of His Beatitude Patriarch Lubomyr Husar. On this occasion, The Generation of Lubomyr Society invites everyone to the Patriarchal Cathedral to attend an evening of remembrance and prayer, the press service of the Kyiv Archeparchy of the UGCC reports.
On this day, at 4 PM, a special evening of remembrance and prayer will be held at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. The event starts with a joint Moleben with His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, presiding.
“We welcome you to join the common prayer of gratitude to the Lord for the gift of life, the ministry of our Patriarch Lubomyr, and to reflect on his life and the spiritual heritage he left us,” the community said.
