This was reported by the Spanish news outlet “La Vanguardia.”

The blessing took place on Tuesday, June 9, before the Holy Father departed for the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, where he led evening prayers.

The convoy includes 31 ambulances. After the Pope’s blessing, 60 volunteer drivers began their journey to the Ukrainian border. Some of them will continue with the convoy, delivering the vehicles and humanitarian aid directly to their recipients in Ukraine.

The initiative has been named the “Second Caravan of Kindness.” Its goal is to support the Ukrainian people by delivering ambulances and essential humanitarian supplies.

“We want kindness to spread throughout Europe; all these good people can become catalysts for change in our world. May the miles we travel become paths leading to peace,” Sister Lucia emphasized in a video posted on social media.
