Metropolitan of Przemyśl-Warsaw Meets with Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland
On January 23, 2025, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Przemyśl and Warsaw, Bishop Eugeniusz Popowicz, held a meeting with Vasyl Bodnar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland.
This was reported by the press service of the Archeparchy of Przemyśl and Warsaw.
The meeting was also attended by Consul General of Ukraine in Lublin, Oleh Kuts; Consul of Ukraine in Lublin, Vasyl Yordan; and Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Przemyśl, Oleksandr Bachyk. Representing the Archeparchial Consistory were Protosyncellus Fr. Bohdan Stepan and Chancellor Fr. Mykola Kostetsky.
According to the report, this was the first meeting between the newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine and the Metropolitan of Przemyśl-Warsaw. It provided a valuable opportunity to discuss issues affecting Ukrainian faithful residing in Poland, particularly those within the Archeparchy of Przemyśl-Warsaw.
