Knights of Columbus provided aid to Kyiv Mental Health Center

On October 27, the Knights of Columbus in Ukraine donated wheelchairs to the Kyiv Regional Mental Health Center in the village of Vorzel. The aid was provided by the Canadian Wheelchair Association.
Nine wheelchairs were delivered to the parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Irpin. A parishioner, Ms. Svitlana Berehova, received one for her husband. In March 2022, when the fighting broke out in the Kyiv region, the couple lost their home and now rent an apartment near the church.
With the assistance of medical chaplain Fr. Vitaliy Voetsa, the Knights of Columbus handed over the remaining wheelchairs to the Kyiv Regional Mental Health Center.
