Bishop Bohdan Danylo Greets Priests on Great Thursday According to the Gregorian Calendar
Bishop Bohdan Danylo, Chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Clergy, addressed the priests on March 27, Great Thursday according to the Gregorian calendar, and congratulated them on the day of priesthood.
In his message, Bishop Bohdan quoted the words from the Holy Week stichera: “If I dare to enter into Your bridal chamber, my garment shall give me away, for I do not have a wedding garment. Purify my soul, O Lord, and in Your goodness, save me.”
“First and foremost, I offer my prayers for each of you, that you may clothe yourselves with garments of light in our lives. Moreover, may you extend this light through your priesthood to those who seek solace in prayer alongside you, who is asking you for these prayers,” expressed Bishop Bohdan as he extended his heartfelt wishes for all clergy to find joy in their priestly service.
