149th Humanitarian Aid Truck Departs Rome for Ukraine
On Saturday, February 28, another shipment of humanitarian aid for those affected by the war in Ukraine was dispatched from the Patriarchal Procathedral of Saint Sophia in Rome.
This was reported by the press service of the Patriarchal Procathedral of St. Sophia.
The initiative is part of the ongoing humanitarian program of the St. Sophia Religious Society under the leadership of its president, Father Mark-Yaroslav Semehen. This time, the shipment carries food, clothing, and other essential items for the people of Ukraine.
The continued dispatch of aid trucks reflects the long-standing tradition of service of the Saint Sophia Religious Society, as well as the self-sacrificing Christian commitment of the parishioners and volunteers of the Patriarchal Procathedral, who provide both material and spiritual support to the Ukrainian people suffering from Russia’s war of aggression.
