Ukrainian Youth Organization Presentation Held for the UGCC Community in Budapest

At the invitation of Fr. Damian Gaboriy, Ms. Lidia Fisunova, who is responsible for external relations at the Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM), visited Budapest from Riga.

As part of the visit, a meeting was conducted with the Ukrainian community. On September 30, a presentation about the Ukrainian Youth Association took place at the Hometown School within Budapest’s church. The students had the opportunity to learn about this international Ukrainian patriotic organization, which has a history of over 100 years and operates in various countries.

On October 1, which coincided with the feast day of the Protection of the Holy Virgin, a presentation of the youth organization was conducted for the parishioners at the Parish of the Protection of the Holy Virgin in Budapest following the festive Liturgy. The practical segment of the meeting occurred during a parish picnic in the scenic mountainous region of Budapest.

This presentation aimed to acquaint the Ukrainian community with the youth organization’s activities and foster collaboration.
