“Ray of Light” Online Catechetical School Starts Its Fifth Academic Year
On October 7, the Ray of Light Online Catechetical School began a new academic year. It is the fifth academic year. This year, 184 students enrolled in the program.
Five classes, five catechists, and five unique curricula:
· Preparation for First Confession and Holy Communion (8–9 years old)
· Exploring the Liturgical Year (9–10 years old)
· Exploring the Old Testament (10–11 years old)
· Exploring the New Testament (11–12 years old)
· United in Christ (13–14 years old)
This year, we have 184 students from different cities of Ukraine: Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Rivne, and the world: Poland, the USA, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, and the UK.
The students of the Ray of Light online catechetical school have met their catechists and now know what they will be taught throughout the year.
The classes at the Ray of Light online catechetical school are broadcast on Zhyve Television, with Ivan and Maria Dovhanyk working at the director’s desk and cameras. All lessons, from the first to the last, are organized in a separate playlist.
