“Quantum satis”: Head of UGCC consecrates the 100th vehicle for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a donation that came from Slovakia

“Our Church has a large network of its representation worldwide. Since the beginning of the war in 2014, the entire network has mobilized to support our defenders and our people in Ukraine, who are defending their statehood, freedom, and independence,” said the Head of the UGCC.

“Since then,” says the Head of the UGCC, “this is the 100th ambulance that has come to Ukraine from only one volunteer service, run by our deacon Petro Tokach and his team. That is why this car has a special badge called ‘Tokachteam.’ There are hundreds of such volunteer organizations in the network of our Church worldwide. Thus, this may be one of hundreds of vehicles that have come to Ukraine to save the lives of our military.”

Cars are continuously being sent to the front through the UGCC in an ongoing stream, making it difficult to determine the exact number of vehicles sent to date. “Quantum satis.” His Beatitude Sviatoslav assured that the assistance from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church for our defenders will continue as long as it is needed until Ukraine’s complete victory.

The ambulances that His Beatitude Sviatoslav consecrated today are fully equipped. They include a defibrillator, an oxygen concentrator, and a paramedic backpack.

The vehicles will be handed over to the Bureviy medical company of the First Presidential Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
