From the Head of the UGCC: He who carries in his body the seed of resurrection is not afraid of death
The one who carries in his body seed the resurrection, is not afraid of death or when he has to experience some difficulties, dangers of this life because in Christ life has already conquered death. May the merciful Lord give us the strength of faith today, with which we can overcome and survive everything. The Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, said in his homily to the faithful in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv.
The Head of the Church claims that the grace of the Holy Spirit becomes the fetus of all other types of our thoughts, and actions of our life when we cherish and save it at any cost. That fetus begins to govern all other types of our activities.
If you have faith as small as a mustard seed.
The Primate assumes that these words of our Savior especially display their sense in today’s life circumstances of our people and the Church in Ukraine during the war.
“Ask yourself today,” the Head of the Church asks to think. — Every time we make some life decisions, what are we guided by, which embryo speaks in us, who do we listen to, and what advice do we seek?”
Let us pray, the spiritual leader urged, that the Lord heals the infidelity of each of us, that He makes each of us that living mustard seed, which, even if it falls into the ground, does not die but sprouts.
