Commemorating the 5th Anniversary of the Death of Metropolitan Stefan Sulyk

On Sunday, April 6, 2025, the Archeparchy of Philadelphia will commemorate the 5th anniversary of the death of Metropolitan Stephan Sulyk.

His funeral was held on April 13, 2020, with few people attending due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Metropolitan Borys Gudziak will celebrate the Panakhyda service for the late Metropolitan-Emeritus Stephan Sulyk after the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Philadelphia, PA, on April 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. After the service, those who wish may pray at the crypt of the cathedral where the late Metropolitan is laid to rest.
