The UGCC Clergy in Kazakhstan Hold a Joint Meeting

On December 11, a Divine Liturgy and a joint meeting of all the clergy of the Apostolic Administration for Catholics of the Byzantine Rite in Kazakhstan and Central Asia took place at the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Karaganda (Kazakhstan).

This was reported by the press service of the Apostolic Administration for the faithful of the Byzantine Rite in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the rector of the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul in Pavlodar, Fr. Yaroslav Holovchuk. During the communal prayer, the clergy gave thanks to God for the service of the Church in the region and asked for God’s blessing on their future pastoral work.

After the Liturgy, on behalf of the clergy of the Apostolic Administration, Fr. Yaroslav Holovchuk congratulated the Apostolic Administrator for Catholics of the Byzantine Rite in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Fr. Vasyl Hovera, on his birthday. The Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Karaganda and parishioners also joined in the congratulations.
