Ten Seminarians from Kyiv Theological Seminary Receive Scholarships from the Knights of Columbus
On April 5, a solemn ceremony was held at the Kyiv Three Saints Theological Seminary of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to award named scholarships to ten seminarians. The financial assistance was provided to future priests by representatives of the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal organization.
The Kyiv Three Saints Seminary reported this.
The award ceremony took place before Vespers, which was led by Auxiliary Bishop Yosyf Milan of the Kyiv Archeparchy.
Supporting seminarians is one of the Knights of Columbus’s key priorities, both globally and in Ukraine. For the past 10 years, the Order’s councils in the capital have been implementing this initiative by providing annual scholarships. This year, councils from the Odesa and Donetsk Exarchates also joined the initiative.

Brother Mykola Mostovyak, National Delegate of the Knights of Columbus in Ukraine, addressed the participants and emphasized the significance of this tradition and its growing impact: from a single scholarship in 2015 to ten today.
Seminary Rector Fr. Roman Ostrovsky noted that this support is not only tangible assistance but also a sign of trust, faith, and an investment in the future of the Church and Ukraine.
“Today’s support is truly an investment in the future. It means that these Knights believe in our victory. They believe that Ukraine has a chance, great hope, and people worth investing in. Therefore, above all, remember in your prayers those who care for you. Pray for them and be grateful. Teach those who will come after you that good deeds must be passed on,” said Fr. Roman, addressing the seminarians.
The Knights of Columbus scholarship program continues to grow, bringing together more and more brothers in the shared mission of supporting new vocations.
