Officers and Delegates of the Council of the Knights of Columbus Inducted into the Government at the Patriarchal Cathedral
On August 18, a ceremony was held at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Kyiv to induct the national officers and regional delegates of the National Council of the Knights of Columbus in Ukraine. His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Father and Head of the UGCC, bestowed his blessing upon them.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Head of the UGCC offered a prayer of blessing for the Knights: “All-Merciful Father, bless the brother Knights and their families, especially the national officers and regional delegates of the Ukrainian National Council of the Knights of Columbus, who have gathered here to renew their devotion to You, to be inducted into their respective offices, and to receive the honor of service. We pray that through Your grace and guidance, these leaders will grow in wisdom, understanding, courage, and unity, teaching others to give generously of their time and talents for the glorification of Your holy name and the good of all people.”
Afterward, His Beatitude blessed the awards. Eighteen officers and delegates were then inducted into their roles, led by the national delegate of the Knights of Columbus in Ukraine, Brother Mykola Mostoviak.
