Head of the UGCC congratulates the General Secretary of the Ukrainian Bible Society on the 60th anniversary
The Father and Head of the UGCC, His Beatitude Sviatoslav, congratulated the Secretary General of the Ukrainian Bible Society, Bishop Oleksandr Babiychuk, on his 60th birthday, thanking him for his many years of dedicated service to the needs of the UBS and his cooperation with the UGCC.

In his congratulatory letter, His Beatitude Sviatoslav noted that through many years of service to God and the bishop’s work in the Ukrainian Bible Society, millions of people have been saved in the risen Christ through reading the Bible: “We deeply appreciate all the efforts you are making to translate, publish and distribute the Bible, which today, like our soldiers, is dressed in a camouflage covering. This is a sign that the Lord is with those who stand on guard for the truth.”
“Please accept our sincere wishes that the Lord God shall not withdraw His blessing from you in the future. May the Holy Spirit, who ‘is everywhere and fills all things,’ fill you with his power so that you may carry God’s eternal word with even greater zeal to this world torn by the pain and inhuman suffering caused by this terrible war. May the merciful Lord, whom you faithfully serve, bestow upon you His merciful gifts: health, peace, and prosperity!” His Beatitude Sviatoslav wished the UBS Secretary General.
A congratulatory letter was presented to Bishop Oleksandr Babiychuk by Father Mykola Sulyma, Chancellor of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC, and Father Ihor Shaban, Head of the UGCC Commission on Interfaith and Interreligious Relations.
